I’ve always appreciated the opportunity to get to know a therapist before jumping into work together. When people book a consultation with me, my first focus is to really understand what that person is struggling with. People share as much as they’re comfortable with and I’ll ask any follow up questions as needed. I share what therapy with me is like and some ways I might approach their challenges.
From there, I want to leave room for any and all questions. You can ask questions ranging from what my past experience has been with an issue to how often you’ll see my dogs on our telehealth sessions. I’m happy to answer them all so that if you choose to work with me, you feel confident in that decision!
